LATEST NEWS (by Eleonora Kampe)
This is the latest news!
Would be better not to leave me disconnected.
Would be better not to leave me disconnected.
Would be better!
Would be better to realise where to make the incision.
Would be better to adjust some peaceful connections over un peaceful locations.
Would be better!
This is the latest news!

EXTINCTION FUNK (by Eleonora Kampe)
Who are those living in the blue?
OCEAN!
Who are those living in the green?
JUNGLE!
Who will remember?
Clouded One!
Lonesome George!
Black Faced Honey Creeper!
Cryptic Tree Hunter!
Who are those living in the blue?
OCEAN!
Everybody loves the sunshine!
Just trees and things and flowers.
What once was a stream,
now is just a dream!
And it ain't gonna rain no more!
Now that my baby is gone!
Lyrics to the song include quotes from Roy Ayers "Evreybody Loves the Sunshine", JJ Cale "Stone River", Nick Cave and Bad Seeds "Ain´t Gonna Rain Anymore".

Last Kind Words

LAST KIND WORDS (by Geeshie Wiley)
The last kind words I heard my daddy say,
Lord, the last kind words I heard my daddy say
If I die, if I die in the German war,
I want you to send my body, send it to my mother Lord
If I get killed, if I get killed please don't bury my soul,
I'd prefer just to leave me, let the buzzards eat me whole
I went to the depot, I looked up at the sign,
Cry some train don't come, there'll be some walkin' done
My mama told me, just before she died,
"Lord, since that dawn I thought you'd be so wise"
The Mississippi River, I know it's deep and wide
I can stand right there, see my babe on the other side!
What you do to me baby, it never gets out of me
I mean I'll see you after I cross the deep blue sea!

KOUV (prose translation from Livonian to English by Monta Bernstein)
As in the desert, it was here dry,
empty sometimes water bucket, ladle.
When I dug up the well, then
from a distant home even came.
Also a bucket, ladle was carried by a few,
another, however, bragged cheerfully -
how would it have helped to dig.
Yet another can belittle – saying,
the well was supposed to be
dug a little shallower, for me
it is easier to dipper in. And, oh God,
someone spits, when drunk.
No one's thinking,
through which that good comes to him.
It has been forgotten that earlier here
was just a shallow puddle,
where the bottom of the bucket is barely wet.
Now after me, a few good one
started to dig by itself, -
now we are no longer threatened by hunger for water.
And just a pity that has been forgotten
to say simply - thank you.

Kaev

KAEV (by Maarja Pärtna)
see, millise kuju ma
soojenevas tulevikus võtan
ei sõltu olemasolevatest asjadest.
kõrge seina ees seistes asetan
aknad avanema akendeta tubadesse
trepid lõppema treppide algusesse
kõik nähtu langema iseenesest
vaataja silmapõhja:
silma põhjas on kaev
kaevu põhjas on linn
linna keskel
kaevuserval mina
vaatan alla üle isetuse
tühja silmaveere
langemisi ütlen:
see, millise nime sa mulle annad
sõltub eelkõige sellest, kelleks sa ise
saada tahaksid.

THE WELL (translation by Jade Will)
the shape I take
in an ever-warming future
does not depend on things at hand.
faced with a wall I fit
windows that open into windowless rooms
steps that finish at the beginning of steps –
everything in sight falls easily
into the onlooker's eye.
at the bottom of the eye is a well
down the well is a city
in the centre of that city
at the well's edge
I lean over and fall
into selflessness, saying
the name you give me
will show first and foremost
who you really want to be.

Loobumine

LOOBUMINE (by Tanel rander)
Loobu, ja sa näed: kõik naaseb!
Loobu iga hinna eest!
Loobu
kuniks sajab sitta taevast
ja sa arvad, et sa haised.
Loobu siis, kui viga teistes näed
või endas pettud.
Loobu
Ja kui sajab lund
või on suvekuumus,
Loobu.
Olgu pime päev või valge öö,
sa loobu.
Kas magades või ilmsi, sa ikka loobu.
Ka siis kui nad kutsuvad sind endaga.
Ja kui ükskord kedagi ei huvita,
kui ainult tühjust tunda saad,
siis loobu!
Loobu kannatlikult sa.
Loobu iga ilmaga.

RESIGN (translattion by Tanel Rander)
Resign and you’ll see: all comes back
Resign at all expense!
Resign, while shit rains from the sky
and you think you smell.
Resign, if you see mistakes in others
or you’re disappointed in yourself.
Resign!
And when it snows,
or when it’s summer heat,
resign.
In a dark day or lightful night,
resign!
Or if you sleep or stay awake,
you still resign!
Also when they want to take you along!
And if one day no one cares
and you sense the bitter void,
resign!
Resign with patience,
resign with joy!
Resign and you’ll see it all come back!
Resign with voice so loud!
And when they force you into silence,
resign, but don’t feel proud!
And when they say “you are right”,
resign and do not fight.
Also when they give you hope!
And when they finally give you up,
just do the same.
And once when they realize
it’s time for them to resign,
you remain the same.
Remember:
You resign in one
or the other way!

Ringhold Estonia
RINGHOLD plays unorthodox & exp. blues. Some call it melancholic, some say it’s sort of a freaky danceable music. eleOnora on vocals has been described as Jim Morrison channeling Meredith Monk. A machine gun? No problem! Dadaist gibberish? Easy! Kalle Tikas get’s lost in a northern Baltic liminalistic desert blues quest. ... more
